New to Church

Welcome. We're so pleased that you're thinking about visiting us at Eastwood Baptist Church (EBC). Whether you're new to the area, looking for a church to call home, exploring the Christian faith or looking at joining in with our activities, we would love to meet you.
Visiting a church for the first time can be daunting so we hope we can give you some information to make your visit go smoothly.

Sunday Morning Worship

We meet on Sunday's at 10.30am for a chance to worship together with songs, prayers and to hear God's word.
We welcome families and have a children's area with activities and our Sunflowers group meets every other week for fun, games and teaching. After our morning service we gather for tea and coffee and a chance to chat (except the 2nd Sunday in the month).

What can you expect?

Our services last just over an hour. There is no dress code and we welcome people of all ages. We usually stand, if you are able, for some time of sung worship, with the words on a large screen. We also spend time in prayer being lead from the front. There is always a Bible passage and then a message from the leader explaining the passage heard.

On the first Sunday of the month we share in communion, which anyone who believes in Jesus is welcome to join in with. We take a communion offering, which is collected on a plate at the back of the church for those who wish to donate and this is always for a charity which has been agreed on by the membership.

We always take up an offering in the morning service but there is no pressure to give. All the money collected is used for the ongoing work of the church in the community.

We have a hearing loop system, and accessible toilets and are recognised as a Dementia and Sight Loss Friendly church.

There is a small carpark at the back of the church which all are welcome to use and their is parking available in the streets alongside the church.

For any other information please contact us. We would love to get to know you.
